HP TouchSmart in Singapore!
June 25, 2008Wow the HP TouchSmart PC Blogger’s Nite event is over and what. a. blast.
Last night – exactly 2 weeks after the HP TouchSmart IQ500 was revealed to the world at HP Berlin 2008 – we had a blogger’s preview part in Singapore (where HP’s Asia Pacific headquarters is located).
Melvin: Lucky me – I was in Berlin when the latest TouchSmart was unveiled; and it was one heck of a launch! The press attending the event just loved it! But the party we just had yesterday evening was special because this time, I was seeing friends and fellow-bloggers in Singapore test it out for the first time…admidst the ooos and ahhhs. And it’s kinda different (from a huge worldwide launch) in its own way… J
Daryl: Little known fact: I worked on the HP TouchSmart PC Blogger’s Nite plan on the first day of my work here at Waggener Edstrom, and it’s fantastic to finally see it materialise, and more importantly, to see that everyone had fun, regardless if they’re bloggers or the HP executives.
What I really enjoyed about last night was being in the unique position of being a blogger, yet “working” at the same time. So on one hand I had to make sure everyone was doing okay, at the same time I was happily taking 2353879 pictures with all the bloggers for our fodder pictures.
Well it looks like everyone had a great time, and we thought we’d write this post to share our thoughts; and more importantly, link to all the stories that those of us who were there last night has to tell…
